We will play bingo after lunch Wednesday, June 7, and will have our jam session after lunch Thursday, June 8. We are seeking volunteers at the center. For more information, call 620-947-2304.

We can also use program ideas. All who present a program receive a complimentary meal the day of the presentation.

Thank you to everyone who supports the senior center. We are run solely by donation, so we thank everyone for your support.

Meals are $3.50 for anyone age 60 and older, and $5.25 for age 59 and younger.

Lanell Hett brought in two perfect roses from her home garden. They would rival any greenhouse rose.

Amanda Baxa, St. Luke Clinic’s new physician, gave our program on May 31. Shirley Bowers also reminisced about her wedding day.

We will host an AARP driving course June 12 and 13 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Vet Rep will be here June 13 at 10 a.m. No appointment is necessary.

Join us June 14 for a program on being safe in your home given by the Marion County Deputy Sheriff.

We appreciate everyone who comes in and dines with us. We now have a table set up for checkers and a dozen other games to include dominoes. Please come in before we dine or stay after dinner and just enjoy company.

We are still collecting pictures of our mothers and fathers. We decided that we are also celebrating Father’s Day by honoring them with pictures.
