We had a great turnout for our Father?s Day lunch and we had music by Trail Song Willie.
Kansas?Rep. Bob Brookens will be speaking here at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 23.
Holly and Amy Thomsen (my nieces) will be performing at the center Monday, June 28, during birthday lunch activities.
We encourage people to join us for our programs and fellowship.
In addition, we wanted to thank our volunteers who help us each day, and those who make donations to keep the senior center going.

Agape Senior Center is offering many diverse activities for the month of June.
Looking ahead, Bingo will begin at 12.:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, and Nancy Moore is the guest speaker Wednesday, June 30.
Moore?s presentation, ?Historical County Poor Farm,? will be featured.

Marion senior center
We had some fun with a visitor to our center one day, a little girl named Erica Hollins.
She had a toy monkey baby without a name. Being an enterprising child, she asked some of our dine-in people to choose between ?Sue Ann? or ?Precious.?
The winning name was ?Precious,? but to make everyone happy, the monkey became ?Precious Sue Ann.?
We had homemade cookies to celebrate Richard Brenzikofer?s birthday June 10. His wife, Rhonda, baked the cookies.
There is a new entree on our menu for July?shrimp. We voted to try it.
Our monthly menu is now on Community Channel 2.
Darrell Weigart brought candy bars to celebrate his birthday June 14. We celebrated Flag Day with the Pledge of Allegiance and flag trivia.
Senior Center Day was June 16. Anita Hancock brought two of her piano students, Tyler Arocha and Shyla Haris.
Red Hat Day is Wednesday, July 7, and we have invited Wichita members of the society to join us.
The center will be closed Monday, July 5.
