Senior Scribbles (July 15, 2009)

The carry-in-meal is Wednesday, July 15. Those planning to attend are asked to bring a favorite food and their own service.

Following the shared lunch, everyone is welcome to stay for a ?Musical Jam Session??bring your instrument to play with them?and ?Sing-a-long.?

Audiologist Haris Zafar will be at the Center at 11 a.m. Wednesday, to take care of your hearing aid problems.

Immediately following the noon luncheon Friday, July 17, the second part of ?Ann of Green Gables? will be shown for Theatre  Day.

Our ladies have been quilting a quilt?the hand-stitched blocks date back to the ?30s?that will be auctioned this fall along with other items donated by the community for a fundraiser.

If you have not enjoyed a lunch at the Center for a while, come and wee what you have been missing?good food and good fellowship.

Also, keep in mind the bus tour to Branson Dec. 4-7 for ?Christmas in Branson.?

For more information, stop by the Center or call 947-2304.
