Our Valentines Day dinner is at noon Friday, Feb. 14. Stop by and sign up soon. February menus are also available.

We are having chair massages Wednesday, Feb. 5. Call for an appointment. They are really great.

We will have Show ?n Tell Feb. 7. Come share your Valentine?s Day memories.

We wanted to thank everyone who attended the center?s winter gala Jan. 25 at the Milk and Honey Bed and Breakfast. It was a great turnout and a lot of fun.

Everyone?s support of the center is appreciated. We can always use more volunteers and Meals on Wheels drivers. Call, if interested.

Anyone who works that day will get their meal free.

The suggested meal donation for people 60 and over is $3.15 and those under 59 is $5. We are located at 212 N. Main St., or call 620-947-2304.

THURSDAY, Jan. 30

Roast turkey, baked sweet potato, oriental vegetables, peach crisp, bread, milk.

FRIDAY, Jan. 31

Lemon-baked fish or alternate of chicken strips, macaroni & cheese, spinach or carrots, mixed fruit cup, bread, milk.

MONDAY, Feb. 3

Oven-fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, broccoli or green beans, angel food cake, fruit, bread, milk.

TUESDAY, Feb. 4

Beef stew, tossed salad, fruit, frosted cake, cornbread, milk.

WEDNESDAY, Feb. 5

Barbecue pork, potato wedges, green beans, cinnamon apples, bun, milk.

Marion Senior Center

We had our first ?Bring a Friend Day? Jan. 16. This was promoted by Rhonda Brenzikofer, and she brought in the most new people. We?ll do another day in a few months.

Gayla Ratzlaff, Marion County Department on Aging coordinator, is offering Tai Chi classes in Feb?ruary, tentatively at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Watch for details.

Sue Clough was selected for the Area Agency board. She joins Barb Smith, also serving on that board.

We had five staff members here Jan. 22 from Harden Hospice. The program was presented by Pastor Faye Wagner and Tonya Ross. Wagner had previously pastored at Valley United Methodist Church.

Join us Feb. 6 for ?Remem?bering When?A Fire and Fall Prevention Program.? This is on Thursday, which is not our usual Wednesday program day.

Feb. 7 is ?Wear Red Day? in observance of women?s heart health.
