Senior Scribbles (Dec. 30, 2009)

Hello from the Hillsboro Senior Center.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Our birthday dinner will be Monday, Jan. 4, and the center will be closed Friday for New Year?s Day.

In addition, we will be having a Pizza Hut fundraiser Sunday, Jan. 10, with 15 percent of sales that day going to help the senior center. I will keep everyone posted on this.

Hope everyone has a happy and safe new year.

I have the January calendars and newsletter done. Please stop by and pick one up.

Final voting on new board members will be held at noon Wednesday, Jan. 6, so please come and vote.

Board candidates include Yunietta Taylor, Joyce Barkman, Ruby Hilt, Vernice Ratzlaff and Charles Rempel. Kermit Ratzlaff will not seek another term.
