Haris Zafar will be here at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, to check hearing aids.
The annual Christmas dinner will be Dec. 19, and unless someone cancels, there are no other seats available.
If someone cannot make it to the dinner, meals can still be picked up. We will need to know ahead of time how many meals to prepare.
We will be closed Dec. 24 and 25 for the Christmas holiday. If someone would like a frozen meal, call by Friday, Dec. 20.
Volunteers are still needed and anyone interested is asked to call. We want to thank everyone for their support.
Meal tickets make a great gift for loved ones or friends. In addition, Bar?bara Villanueva has gift certificates available for chair massages.
The suggested meal donation for people 60 and over is $3.15 and those under 59 is $5. We are located at 212 N. Main St., or call 620-947-2304.

Has the Christmas spirit reached you yet? If not come into the senior center to see the decorations, including banners and a tree, special place mats, or original ones designed by those who eat here.
We play Christmas music mid-morning, and Shirley Bowers often plays carols on the piano before lunch.
Wanda Hamm brought treats for her birthday Dec. 10, and Irene Richmond brought in her granddaughter, Penny Antoszyk, Dec. 11 for her birthday. They brought treats, too.
We now have a final date for our Elvis party.
Marc Baker will be here at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3. Come and help rock the senior center. Wear your poodle skirt.
Brian Obermeyer, who works for Nature Conser?vancy, gave a presentation on the Flint Hills, plus other areas in Kansas overseen by the conservation organization.

We will host the Marion County Senior Citizens? board meeting Dec. 20.

We will have a brunch before the Christmas holidays Dec. 23, but this time Kim Nellans, our cook, is going to change things up a bit. We will have biscuits and sausage gravy.
If someone would like to volunteer in the kitchen from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Fridays, and also someone to deliver meals from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Fridays, it would be greatly appreciated.
