Senior Scribbles (Aug. 26, 2009)

Everyone is invited Wednesday, Aug. 26, to come and enjoy a chicken lunch and then stay for Game Day for fun and fellowship.

After the luncheon Thursday, all those who play a musical instrument are encouraged to join in a musical jam session.

Looking forward in September:

We are in the process of completing our plan of a van trip for a tour of the Salt Mine in Hutchinson. Lunch will be at Carriage Crossing and then a time of shopping in Yoder.

Footcare is scheduled for Sept. 10 and 17. If interested, call for an appointment at 947-2304.

Following our ?Carry-In? meal Wednesday, Sept. 16, we hope to have a presentation on wind farming.

National Checker?s Day is Wednesday, Sept. 23, and we plan to have a winner?s play off. Anyone wanting to participate is asked to bring their checkers.

Watch for news of a Thanksgiving dinner and the auctioning of the quilt.

Looking forward to Christmas, join us for a bus trip to Branson from Dec. 4-7.
