Senior Scribbles (April 1, 2009)

Volunteers in the kitchen were Marcella Mohn, Frieda Birkle, Irma Koop, Irma Groening, Ruth Ann Penner, Frances Remple, Shirley Hiebert, Louise Rahe, Marianne Unruh and Louise Rohe. Drivers included Lonn Richards, Jim Brennan and Ray Matz.

April 2 is International Children?s Book Day and the two Hurst girls will be reading to those eating at the center.

Commodities will be available to those who qualify at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, April 9. This is a first-come, first-served basis.

Tuna melt loco bread, vegetable soup, carrot, celery sticks, blushing applesauce, pudding, milk.

TUESDAY, April 7

Baked fish, potato wedges, green beans, rolls, mixed fruit, milk.
