HILLSBORO Senior Center
We welcome you to come join us soon at the center.
We have great meals and a great place for fellowship.
We need meals on wheels divers and volunteers to help at the center. Call 620 947-2304 for more information.
We are look for program ideas or if you have a program you would like to share with us let us know.
We will be having sing along on Thursday, Aug 15 after the noon meal.
Our ice cream social is from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Aug 16. We will have homemade ice cream, sloppy joes, chips, pickles and pie. Bob Delk and the boys will be providing music for us all for a donation to our center. So come out and support our center and enjoy a great evening of fellowship.
Salem Home will be doing a program on Tuesday, Aug 20 about their nursing home.
We also have dominos every Monday after the noon meal.
We play bingo after the noon meal on Wednesdays.
We welcome everyone to our center of any age for a meal. The suggested donation for 60 and over is $3.50 and under the age of 60 is $5.25. That’s a great price for a great meal.
We want to thank our cook for all her hard work as she has been cooking for the Marion Senior Center, too. She does a lot of meals so please give her a big thank you, because she a great cook and very special to us all.
We also want to thank all of our volunteers and board members and meals on wheels drivers for all of their help and support to our center.

Marion senior center
We were glad to welcome back our Marion Senior Center president, Sue Cough, who has been recovering from surgery.
We were glad to have the Lunch Bunch with us on Aug 6.
We really need volunteers in the kitchen even if for just one morning a week. Call us.
Thanks to those who bring tomatoes and cucumbers. Keep the produce coming.
Thanks to Bob Crawford who went to Hillsboro daily in July to bring back our meals. And thanks to Kathy Bernhardt for volunteering in the kitchen.

Peabody senior center
It sure has been warm lately. It is hard to believe that our kids are already going to be starting school. The summer flew by quickly.
The Birthday Dinner is on Aug 14 with Sonja Koslowsky at the piano, chair massages with Rachel Gfeller, and blood pressure readings taken by nurses from Peabody Health and Rehab.
Looking forward to Thursday, Aug 22 at 5 p.m. when we will be having our Make-Up Meal.
On Friday, Aug 30 at 9:30 a.m., we will have out Holiday Brunch. We will be serving a Breakfast Casserole, Cinnamon Roll or Muffin, Fruit, and milk.
The first day of school starts on Tuesday, Aug 20. Please watch out for the children walking, riding their bikes or getting on or off the school buses.
Come by and pick up an August Menu or we can mail one to you. Our September menus are also ready.
Did you know that a meal Can be picked up, that a meal can be delivered, or better yet, you can come in and dine with friends?
Meals are $3.50 for 60+ and $5.25 for 59 and under. Be sure to call and make a reservation.
