Can you believe August has arrived. Parents and teachers are busy getting ready for school. Seems like the children and parents were kept busy this summer with swim team, free swimming days, Bible School, picnics, and just having fun. School starts Aug. 20, please watch out for the children walking and riding bicycles.

We are preparing for a busy month, hoping we can get started with repairs and moving forward.

Blood pressure will be taken by Jaime Garcia, Angels, on Thursday, Aug 8.

Grief Share will be from 3-4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug 13.

The Birthday Dinner is on Aug 14 with Sonja Koslowsky at the piano, chair massages with Rachel Gfeller, and blood pressure readings taken by nurses from Peabody Health and Rehab.

Our August menus are ready, you can stop by and pick up one or we can mail one to you. Did you know that a meal can be picked up, that a meal can be delivered, or better yet, you can come in and dine with friends?

Meals are $3.50 for 60+ and $5.25 for 59 and under. Be sure to call and make a reservation. Take advantage of our Meals on Wheels program, please call for information (620-983-2226).
