Amy Kjellin presented a progress on her trip to Scotland on June 13. She showed film and had items on display. Many of us looked at the map to see if we had Scottish roots.

June 14 was Flag Day so we recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and had some trivia.

We were glad to welcome back volunteer Robin Nelson. See had attended camp the week before.

Commodities came in on June 19. Those helping unload and box them up were Sue Clough, Doris Winkler, Bob Crawford, Teresa Eads, Shirley Bowers and Jerry Nelson.

We welcome Jill Tichcnor as a new meal delivery person.

June 19 was Senior Center Day with the business meeting conducted by Senior Center President Sue Clough.

Come join us on July 3 for a patriotic singalong.

We are closed on July 4.

This past week was a very busy one, not only for us, but for the many who were affected by the flood. A lot of us are removing carpet and just figuring what else we can we do.

Many volunteers came and believe it or not, we started serving meals on Tuesday of last week. We only missed one day. We still have much work to do but we are not alone.

REMEMBER — We will be closed on July 4th. HAPPY JULY 4th to everyone.

We are having an Indoor Picnic, serving Hamburgers, Potato Salad, and Strawberry Shortcake on Wednesday, July 3.

We will be doing a 4th of July Brunch serving Biscuit w/Sausage Gravy or Scrambled Eggs w/Sausage Patty, Cinnamon Roll or Blueberry Muffins on at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 5.

Grief Share will be at 3-4:30pm on Tuesday, July 9.

Birthday Dinner will be on Wednesday, July 10, so if you want to celebrate your Birthday with us, call and make a reservation. If you are 60 or older the cost is $3.50.

Stop by and share a cup of coffee with us. July menus can be picked up any morning.

Meals are $3.50 for 60+ and $5.25 for 59 and under. Be sure to call and make a reservation.

Take advantage of our Meals on Wheels program, please call for information (620-983-2226).
