We will have dominos on Monday, July 15 after the noon meal.
We will have bingo after the noon meal and on Wednesday, July 17.
Our sing a long is after the noon meal on Thursday, July 18.
The farmers market will be at the senior center and we are serving the meal. We are having BBQ Hamburgers with bake beans, potato salad and cookie bars. This is a fundraiser for the senior center.
We hope you can come and enjoy a meal soon.
We have a make up meal on Saturday, July 20. We will serve the meal at 9 a.m. like a regular day. This is not a fundraiser meal. You can use your meal tickets for this and not a come and go. We will only serve at 9 a.m. or come at 8 a.m. or after for pick up meal.

We need volunteers from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. We need meals on wheels drivers from 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Marion senior center
We’re back to serving hot meals 0in the Senior Center. Thanks to Hillsboro Senior Center manager Brenda Moss and cook Kendra.
Bob Crawford picks up the meals each day and Gayla Ratzlaff returns the containers. Thanks to Rebekah Hogue and Connie Fisher in our kitchen for getting everything ready.
We reluctantly saw Ed Riffel quit as a meals on wheels driver after years of faithful service. We welcome newcomers Bob Priest and Sheri Groening. Ginny Lind can sub on Fridays.
We had a ONE committee meeting here on July 9, chaired by Mary Rogers. Marion County site managers attend.
The first day back, July 8, Rebekah placed a welcome sign out front and made sunflower cookies for us.
Thanks to Lucille Bitner for bringing in several jigsaw pulses and a word game for us.
Our program on July 19 was given by Aleya Ediger who teaches water aerobics at the aquatic center.

We will serve lunch and then have a Make-up meal at 5 p.m.on Thursday, July 18. The meal is homemade chili with crackers and cinnamon rolls.
Anytime we have a day that we close due to weather or other circumstances, we have to have a make-up day. Remember all those snow days we had and now with the closure do to flooding we will be adding another make-up day.
Stop by and share a cup of coffee with us. July menus can be picked up any morning.
Meals are $3.50 for 60+ and $5.25 for 59 and under. Be sure to call and make a reservation.
