Senior Scribbles 11-6-2019

HILLSBORO SENIOR CENTER

Welcome to November.

We look forward to having you join us this month.

We will be having our Thanksgiving dinner on Friday, Nov. 15. You need to sign up soon as we are filling up fast.

John Etheridge will be here talking about pain management on Thursday, Nov. 7 after the noon meal.

Please remember to thank our Veterans for their service on Monday, Nov 11.

We want to remind you that we have meal tickets that you can purchase for the holiday season for a great gift. Call for more information.

Just a reminder that we are closed the week of November 25-29 so our cook can have a vacation. We are also getting our carpets cleaned and our kitchen floors done while we are gone. It is much needed work that needs done.

We will be sending our extra meals the week before so please let us know how many meals you would like. You can use your meal tickets for them, too. We hope everyone has a blessed week.

We will host the ONE Committee after lunch on November 12. This consists of the Marion County site managers mostly.

We will host a lunch and learn on November 12 with special piano music beginning at 11:30 a.m. by Roger Megli. After lunch there will be a program on Veterans benefits and preplanning.
