We had a very good turn out for the flu shots. If you missed out on getting your flu shot, you can call the Marion County Health Department at 620-382-2550 and set up a time. Just make sure you make a point to get a flu shot. We appreciate the time the nurses spent setting up and giving the shots plus you didn’t have too far to walk.

Birthday Dinner will be Wednesday. Oct. 9.

Let the Peppernut Baking begin. It’s that time of year, beginning Oct. 10, right after lunch. Can’t wait to see all of you volunteers. We are amazed and grateful for how many of you give up your time to help us with the peppernuts.

Gayla will be here Oct. 25 to help us with our different Medicare Part D Prescriptions. Take time to come because there is a chance she may be able to save you a little money. A lot of us have had our Part D doubled for the upcoming year. We are really happy that we have her here to walk us through the paper work.

Don’t forget you can get the Free Press at Peabody Market and CK Pharmacy.
