We will play bingo on wed. Jan. 30.

Police Chief Dan Kinning will be speaking after the noon meal on Friday, Feb. 1.

The Lions Club Pancake Feed will be here on Saturday, Feb. 2. That is also ground hog day, too.

The Super Bowl is on Sunday, Feb.3.

We will have foot care on Tuesday, Feb. 5. Call to make an appointment.

Show and Tell Valentines things on Friday, Feb. 8.

If you like to play pool, many are playing after the noon meal now, unless we have a program. Come enjoy a meal and then stay to play a few games.

We also have great fellowship, too.

We want to thank everyone for your support to our center.

We could use a few more volunteers. Call for more information.

We also offer meals on wheels, pick ups, etc. The suggested donation for meals is 60 and over $3.50 and anyone younger then 60 is $5.25.

Marion senior center

We had a timely program on influenza given by Dr. Whitely on Jan. 17. We sent the extra information sheets out to our Meals on Wheels customers the next day.

We received a big challenge when Jackie Volbrecht brought in a 2,000 piece jigsaw puzzle of the Last Supper. The goal is to complete it by Easter.

We had a big day with the Aulne United Methodist birthday group coming in on Jan. 23. They were honoring Larry Ensey, Betty Just and Evelyn Hett. The Lutheran Church lunch bunch were present also.

Dawn Miller of Angels Care gave the program on understanding your medications.

Come join us on Thursday, Feb. 7 for a program by Gayla Ratzlaff about the group Second Saturday to Serve.

We experience huge snow flakes Friday morning. It snowed enough to cover the ground and just as quick, the snow stopped in time for lunch.

Gayla Ratzlaff was here on Tuesday with a full schedule. She did LIEAP, Homestead Tax Refunds and even your taxes. If you need help, she is the one to go to.

Sarah from Peabody Health and Rehab will be here for Therapy Exercise at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30. Our diners really enjoyed the last session. The exercise program will be held twice a month.

Melany Ink of TCT will be here on Wednesday, Jan. 30 to talk about NexTech wireless and their cell phones and plans. She was going to be here on the Jan. 23, but we postponed the program due to the bad roads. She will do the program right after lunch.

The Ground Hog Day Brunch will be at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 1. We will be serving an egg/sausage/hash brown bake, cinnamon roll, fruit, milk and coffee. We look forward to seeing you there.

We always seem to need volunteers so we hope a few of you would volunteer when you can. You are always welcome.

Come have a cup of hot coffee and pick up a February menu. Meals are $3.50 for 60 and over and $5.25 for 59 and under. Be sure to call and make a reservation.
