We hope everyone had a safe and happy July 4 holiday.

Our jam session is Thursday, July 9; footcare is Tuesday, July 21; and hearing aid checks with Haris Zafar begin at 11:15 a.m. July 15. Also on July 15, Progres?sive Home Health is doing blood pressure home health checks from 10 a.m. until noon.

We are in need of volunteers because some people who cannot do this anymore. The hours would be from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., and include helping over lunch and cleaning up. As a way to thank those who help, their meal is free that day.

We also could use substitute drivers for the Meals on Wheels program. If interested, please call us.

We are grateful to everyone who has donated toward the new freezer. We still need more, but every donation is vital and helps our center.

Virginia Downing brought in Charles Mont?gom?ery, a former regular here at the senior center. He now lives in Maryland.

Harlow Warneke celebrated his birthday July 2 by bringing us treats.

Our program that day was Grace Hett at the piano. She is a student of Anita Hancock, who played some duets with Grace.

We have a Tai chi class at 10:30 a.m. Thursdays at the center. Tai chi is graceful and good for balance.

Join us July 15 for Senior Center Day with a program available after lunch.

An efficient crew prepared the newsletter for mailing June 29. They were Fred Puttroff, Wanda Hamm, Evelyn Jewett, Shirley Bowers, Irmagene Goodman, Nora Richter, Marilyn Geis, Mary Hett Barb and Larry Smith.
