Senior Scribbles 3-11-2020

HILLSBORO SENIOR CENTER

We hope you all remembered to spring forward on your time. Now it will stay daylight longer for us and we hope for spring weather to stay around now, too.

We will have bingo after the noon meal on Wednesday, March 11.

Our Jamm Session will be after the noon meal on Thursday, March 12.

St. Patricks Day is Tuesday, March 17 so wear your green that day.

We will be having a breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, March 21 for our senior center waffle and Dale’s sausage by donation from 7 a.m.-1 p.m.

We could still use volunteers to help that day. We have a sign-up sheet at the center.

We also need a sub cook to fill-in when our cook needs off or is ill which isn’t very often. She also has a lot of stuff already prepped when she needs off unless she is sick. You will get paid training, too. So if you enjoy cooking and just like some extra income from time to time, come fill out an application for being a sub cook. We have recipes you follow, too.

We also need volunteers on Thursday and Fridays from 11am -1pm or after Call for more information. We hope you will join us soon at the center. We have great meals and great fellowship. We are looking for programs if anyone has any ideas let us know. Have a blessed week.

—Brenda Moss, director
