Merry Christmas Everyone! Sounds like a storm is brewing but we are used to Kansas winds, doesn’t mean we have to like them. Kansas is known for being People of the South Winds. Sonja Koslowsky played the piano for our Birthday Dinner last Wednesday. Jaime Garcia (Angels) surprised us with a visit on Thursday, Dec 12 and gave a program on Blood Pressure and what to watch for on your BP readings. She also took several diners Blood Pressure before lunch. Our Holiday Light Tour was a success thanks to our bus driver, Roy Young. We appreciate Peabody-Burns USD 398 for furnishing both the bus and driver. We served around 19 people with great snacks after the Tour. We couldn’t do this without the help of our board and diners who provided and served the snacks. It was good to see everyone! Our Christmas Dinner will be served on Thursday, Dec 19. We will be closed Christmas Day. Our Holiday Brunch is at 9:30 am. on Dec 27. We end the year with a Pizza Party on Dec. 31. That’s homemade pizza and yes, Bob Delk will be here with Steve Hanneman and others to play their music. Free Press is always available at Peabody Market and CK Pharmacy. Our Center also sets out a few copies of the Free Press for you to take home. Please stop by and pick up your January Menu and say hello. Let us know if you would like an extra meal on Tuesday, Dec. 24. Meals are $3.50 for 60+ and $5.25 for 59 and under. Be sure to call and make a reservation.
