MCL offers bird watching program on May 14

Have you ever tried to identify a bird, but forgot what the bird looked like as soon as you googled it? Or do you get overwhelmed looking through your bird field guide? Do you just want to refresh your basic birding skills?

There will be a beginning bird-watching program offered at the Marion City Library at 7 p.m. in the Sante Fe Room. Jackie Augustine, the executive director for Audubon of Kansas, will talk about how to identify birds by sight, behavior and locations. She will also demonstrate the proper use of binoculars and talk about how apps and field guides can help beginning bird watchers.

Everyone is invited to attend.

For more information call the Marion City Library at 620-382-2442.
