MCL named 2023 Best Small Public Library in Kansas

The Kansas Library Association has announced that the Marion City Library has been named the 2023 Best Small Public Library in Kansas. This award is presented annually and is co-sponsored by KLA and Auto-Graphics, Inc. The Marion City Library was honored on Nov.1 at the Kansas Library Conference during the State Librarian and Awards Luncheon in Wichita.

The Marion City Library was selected as the 2023 Best Small Library in Kansas for providing innovative programming and exemplary services to the community.

The Best Small Library Award was created by regional library consultants in conjunction with the Kansas Library Association to recognize creative and excellent library services, programs or activities in a community of less than 5,000.

A reception will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14 in the Santa Fe Room at the Marion City Library with the award presentation at 5:15 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to attend to congratulate the Marion City Library staff and board members.
