Marion/Florence FFA members participate in K-ACTE Showcase Day

Officers from the Marion/Florence FFA Chapter traveled to Topeka to participate in the Kansas Association of Career and Technical Educator’s Showcase day at the state capitol building. They participated with over 30 other Career and Technical student organizations to advocate for CTE courses and programs with state legislators. Marion’s FFA chapter officers were able to meet with both representative Scott Hill and state senator Rick Wilborn to hear about the legislative process and visit with them about the value of career and technical education courses in Kansas.
