Lola Mae Savoia

Lola Mae Savoia, 96, died on July 19, 2021, at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.

A Celebration of Life was at 10:30 a.m.on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Parkview M.B. Church in Hillsboro officiated by Pastor Tom Byford.

A Committal service was at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at Zion Lutheran cemetery in Hillsboro.

Family received friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Memorials to Caring Hands Humane Society in care of Jost Funeral Home P.O. Box 266 Hillsboro, KS 67063.

She was born on January 1, 1925, in Hillsboro to Alex and Jessie (Miller) Stratman.

Survivors include sons, Robert Kim (Nicole) Washmon of Leadville, Colorado, Greg (Donna) Washmon of rural Hillsboro; daughters, Cynthia (Roger) Fleming of Hillsboro, Janis McInthyre of Edmond, Oklahoma; step sons, John Savoia Jr. of Boston, Massachusetts, Tim Savoia of Fresno, CA; step daughters, Ruth Savoia Restrepo of Wimberly, Texas; brothers, Bob and Bill Stratman; sister, Peggy Hunter; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
