Hillsboro Public Library will host local author, Elaine McAllister, for a meet and greet event at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 21in the Hillsboro city building east room. McAllister is the author of seven books including the upcoming release of “All Aboard! The Adventures of Miss Ratcliff.” She will have books available for purchase at the event.
HPL is also hosting a clothing giveaway from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18 in the city building. This event is open to anyone and there is no fee. Please come help yourself to these items for all ages and sizes.
Join HPL for a Paint by Number class from 3-4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 26 in the city building. Cost is $20, and all supplies are provided. Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. RSVP to HPL by 5:00 pm on Nov. 24.
