A movie day is planned at Hillsboro Public Library on Tuesday, Aug. 13. Families with children are invited to enjoy a movie appropriate for young audiences at 6 p.m. followed by a PG-13 movie at 7:30 pm. Children under age 13, must be accompanied by an adult for the second film. Free popcorn and water will be served at both showtimes. Contact HPL for the specific movie titles.
Hillsboro Public Library will be hosting weekly sessions of fall Storytime beginning Sept. 25 or 26. Sign-ups will be accepted starting Sept. 3. Cost is $5 per child for the semester and the child must be age 3 by Sept. 1. More details will be available soon.
A free monthly book club for adults meets at HPL on the second Thursday at 7 p.m. Call or email the library for information.
