Alumni from Hillsboro High School’s class of 1982 gathered on Saturday afternoon at the home of Todd Jost in Lehigh to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their graduation. Twenty-one alumni, from a graduating class of forty-five, attended the event, as well as 12 spouses and former teachers Bruce Clary and Dave Clark. They enjoyed a Filipino-themed lunch from The Pickup Line in Hillsboro, sharing memories and catching up on the events of the past 40 years.

“It was a really meaningful afternoon for us”, said Mark Seibel, one of the members of the planning committee. “We enjoyed a lot of successes as a class, including outstanding records in football and basketball, and award-winning performances in track and music and public speaking, but those things pale in importance compared to the ways we could see how we have all learned to love better, grown as people, raised families, and have served others in so many different ways over the past 40 years.”
