“As always, I am very proud of how the Trojan yearbook staff performed at State. Six of our placers are first-year journalism students, so for them to place in the top six at State contest is very exciting and speaks volumes about how quickly they are growing in their skills. Our top two finish as a school was driven by our upperclassmen, Trudy, Ainsley and Violet, who brought home four individual championship titles among them. They have been wonderful leaders in our program, both for yearbook itself and in our contest results. Contest pieces are above and beyond our regular workload, and so I am very impressed with the time and effort the students made to be this successful. What a great group of kids,” said yearbook teacher Jessica Bowman.
