Goessel 4-H met on March 3

The March meeting of the Goessel Goal Getters was held on Monday, March 3 in the Goessel High School Library.

The meeting started with Cole Shaver leading the pledges, and Brooklyn Tucker sang the “Happy Birthday” song for all the March birthdays.

The Roll Call was: “What is your favorite thing about Spring?” It was answered by 21 members, two parents, four leaders and one guest for a total of 28 people present.

Nivea Funk read last month’s minutes, and they were approved. EV Cannon gave the Treasurers report.

Community Leader Suzanne Meier announced updates on the Council Meeting, as well as new opportunities this year at the fair for presentations and booths.

Mason Voth led recreation, and the group played Freeze Tag.

Nivea Funk shared a presentation on making soft but crunchy cookies, and Ruby Shaver explored how to remove slime from clothing and shared it.

Next month’s meeting will be Monday, April 1 at the Goessel High School Library.
