Wayne and Linda Friesen of Hillsboro are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on April 2. They were united in marriage on April 2, 1971 at the First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro.
They have been blessed with three children; daughter Becky Peterson and husband Scott of Marion, daughter Carissa Thiessen and husband Anthony of Hillsboro and son Justtin Friesen and wife Amy of Salina.
They have six grandchildren whom they adore; Emma, Tripp, Jacob, Brooklyn, Levi, and Noah.
