Free Commodities to be distributed in Marion County

Distribution of free food to low-income residents aged 60 and older is scheduled for the week of

April 15. Recipients must have a monthly household income of no more than $1,580 for 1, $2,137 for 2, $2,694 for 3; add $557 for each household member beyond.

Commodities from the U.S. Department of Agriculture will be distributed first come, first served by the community at these locations:

Wednesday, April 17 – Burns – Morning at Community Center; Goessel – 5-6 p.m. at Citizens State Bank; Lincolnville – 10:30 to 11 a.m. at Community Center; Lost Springs – 11 a.m. at Marion Senior Center; Marion – 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Marion Senior Center; Peabody – 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Community Center; Pilsen – 11:30 a.m. at Community Center; Ramona – Morning at the Community Center; Tampa – 3 to 4 p.m. at Senior Center

Thursday, April 18- Florence – 9 to 11 a.m. at Senior Center

Saturday, April 20 – Durham, Hillsboro, and Lehigh – 9 a.m. to noon at Main Street Ministries in Hillsboro.
