Flint Hills Counterpoint to offer workshop on Aug. 17

Flint Hills Counterpoint is offering a community bookbinding workshop from 1-3 p.m. on Aug. 17 at the Mennonite Heritage & Agricultural Museum at 200 Poplar Street in Goessel. Glimpse into the paper, thread, awls and bone folders used in the art of assembling a book. Create your own book to use as a journal, sketchbook or grocery list. Learn the ancient art of bookbinding with Kansas City Art Institute Faculty Cyan Meeks. Tickets are free to the public and you get to keep the book.
