Amy Helmer and Randy Boudreaux, both of Marion, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The couple plan to wed Sept. 11 at a private lakeside ceremony. A reception will be held Sunday, Sept. 12, at the Marion Christian Church.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ladd and Luci Helmer of rural Marion. She is also the granddaughter of Pauline Allender of Harper, Eldena and the late David Helmer of Marion and Norman and Phyllis Spencer of Hallet, Okla.
She is co-owner of The Big Scoop in Marion.
The groom-elect is the son of Marilyn Plus of Spencer, Ind. He is employed by Circle D in Hillsboro.
