Brook, Brookensplan April wedding

Alan and MaryAnn Brook of Arkansas City and Bob and Anita Brookens of Marion announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Jannie Marie Brook of Olathe to Andrew John Brookens of Omaha, Neb.

The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Arkansas City High School and a 2007 graduate of MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe with a bachelor of arts degree in accounting. She is employed by Cornerstone Endodontics of Overland Park as an accountant and bookkeeper.

The groom-elect is a 2002 graduate of Marion High School and a 2006 graduate of Baker University in Baldwin City with a bachelor of science degree in business.

He is employed by KVC Behavioral Health Care, Omaha, as a human resources manager.

The couple plan to wed April 23 in rural Baldwin City.

Gayer, Brown plan to exchange vows

Amanda Gayer and Spencer Brown, both of Hillsboro, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Doug and Tamara Gayer of McPherson and the groom-elect is the son of Greg and Denise Brown of Hillsboro.

Her grandparents are Curtis and Karen Roesch of Quinter and Glenn and Loreen Gayer of McPherson. His grandparents are Nick and Deanna Dolloff of Minneapolis and Edmonde and Barbara Brown of Archie, Mo.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of McPherson High School and attends Tabor College in Hillsboro.

The groom-elect graduated from Hillsboro High School and also attends Tabor College.

The couple plan a May 21 wedding at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.
