Brown and Marsh to marry June 28

 

BrownMarshEngagement.jpg Greg and Denise Brown and Dave and Cheri Marsh, all of Hillsboro, announce the engagement of their children, Jillian Denise and Caleb Newell.

The bride is a graduate of Minneapolis High School and Tabor College with a dual degree in communications and marketing. She is the marketing coordinator for Smoky Hill Education Service Center, Salina.

The groom is a graduate of Hillsboro High School and a May candidate for graduation from Tabor College with a degree in business administration with an emphasis in aviation.

A June 28 wedding is planned at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.

 


Longden, Busenitz to marry May 24

 

LongdenBusenitzEngagement.jpg Rev. and Mrs. Michael Long?den of Potwin announce the Jan. 1 engagement of their daughter, Mary Elizabeth, to Arlen James Busenitz of Burns, son of Arnold and Velma Busenitz of Valley Center.

The future bride received her associate?s degree from Butler Community College in office management. She is a para-educator at Remington Elementary School in Potwin and is also employed at Wheat State Manor of Whitewater.

The groom-to-be received a bachelor of science degree in biblical studies from Moody Bible Institute of Chicago. He graduated with a master of arts degree in leadership from Luther Rice University of Atlanta. Currently, he is pastor of First Mennonite Church of Burns.

The couple are to be married at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24, at Grace Hill Mennonite Church, rural Whitewater.

 


Virginia couple plan Aug. 15 wedding

 

DaviesPrielEngagement.jpg Audrey Rose Davies and David Warren Priel, both of Alexandria, Va., announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Parents of the bride-to-be are Ron and Joanne Davies of Merri?mack, N.H., and the parents of the future groom are Warren and Rosann Priel of Hillsboro.

The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Merrimack High School, and a 2003 graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Durham, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in environmental conservation. Recently she earned a master?s degree in special education with certification in emotional, behavioral and learning disabilities at George Mason University, Fairfax, Va.

She is employed as a high school special education teacher at Phillips Programs, Annandale, Va.

The groom-to-be is a 1997 graduate of Cherry Creek High School, Greenwood Village, Colo., and a 2002 graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in international affairs.

He is employed with the National Association of Independent Schools in Washington, D.C., as program specialist for online services.

The wedding will be Aug. 15 in Merrimack.

 


Schmitt, Litke will exchange July vows

 

SchmittLitkeEngagement.jpg Sheila Schmitt, Hillsboro, and Glenn Litke, rural Marion, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The future bride, daughter of Dean and Laureen Schmitt of Hudson, Iowa, is associate professor of piano and piano pedagogy at Tabor College. She has music degrees from Houghton College, the University of Colo?rado at Boulder and the Univer?sity of Kansas.

The groom-to-be, son of Virgil and Phyllis Litke, rural Marion, is a former music faculty member at Tabor College and is currently farming. He has music degrees from Tabor and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

A July 29 wedding is planned at First Evangelical Free Church in Wichita.
