Funk, McKim to wed April 19

April Funk and Tyler McKim, both of Red Bluff, Calif., announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Parents of the bride-elect are Kurt and Ruth Funk of Hillsboro. Parents of the groom-to-be are Tim and Bernadette McKim of Red Bluff.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Hillsboro High School and a 2007 graduate of Tabor College with a business administration and accounting/finance and management degree. She is employed with Sierra Pacific Windows.

The groom-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Red Bluff High School and a 2007 graduate of Tabor College with a health and physical education and sports management degree.

The couple will be married April 19 at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.


Yoder, Richardson to exchange vows

Stan and Cheryl Yoder of Kingman announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Marie, to Jarod Richardson, son of Kim and Deb Richardson of Grant, Neb.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Kingman High School, and will graduate in May from Tabor College with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.

The groom-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Grant (Neb.) High School, and will graduate in May from Tabor with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management and an associate’s degree in church music.

The couple will be married at 2 p.m. Monday, May 26 at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro.


Abrahams, Kelley to wed Oct. 11

Rex and De Vonne Abrahams of Canton announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Megan Nichole, to Andrew Kelley, son of John and Sheila Kelly of Simla, Colo.

Grandparents of the bride are Rufus and Leola Unrau of Lehigh and Ray and Sylvia Abrahams of Hillsboro. The groom’s grandmother is Tracy Nichols of Brush, Colo.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Canton-Galva High School and will graduate in May from Bethel College. She is employed at Bethany House in Newton.

The groom-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Mountain Lake Public High School and a 2005 graduate of Hesston College. He is employed by OIC in Wichita.

The couple will be married Oct. 11 at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro.
