Jacobson, Stevens announce wedding

JacobsonStevens-Engage.jpgLaura Jacobson of Sedgwick and Robert Stevens of Peabody announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-elect is the mother of Jeannette Jacobson of Sedgwick. Parents of the bride-to-be are Jerry and Ann Cunningham of Alabama. She is the granddaughter of the late Kenneth and Ann Johnston of Florence and Peabody.

She works as a certified medical aide at Wheat State Manor in Whitewater.

The groom-to-be is the father of Robert Jr. of Kansas and William and Jesse Stevens of Peabody. His parents are the late Milton and Elizabeth Stevens of Florida.

He works as a truck driver out of Hillsboro.

The couple will be married Dec. 31.

Martinez, Woelk plan Oct. 4 vows?

MartinezWoelk.jpg Cynthia Aileen Martinez and Jordan Robert Woelk, both of Wichita, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Kenneth and Jenny Martindale of Wichita and Robert and Kathryn Woelk of Hillsboro.

Grandparents of the bride-elect are Bob McCutcheon of Wichita, the late Betty McCutcheon, Adell Martindale of Wichita, the late Bill Martindale and Pedro and Lee Martinez of Arlington, Texas.

Grandparents of the groom-to-be are Charles and Mary Ann Woelk of Goessel, Norman and Leona Schroeder of rural Canton and the late LuEtta Schroeder.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Northeast Magnet School in Wichita and Wichita State University. She is pursuing a teaching degree. Her fianc? graduated from Hillsboro High School and Wichita State University. He is employed by Professional Image Center in Wichita.

The couple will be married at 4 p.m. Oct. 4, at the Grand Chapel in Wichita.

Hein, Gattis plan October wedding?

Parents of the bride-elect are Dick and Carla Hein of Hillsboro. Parents of the groom-to-be are Homer and Jan Gattis of Hesston.

The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Hillsboro High School and a 2004 graduate of Tabor College. She is currently working on a master?s in social work at the University of Kansas, and is employed as a program tutor at Kansas Kids @ Gear Up.

The groom-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Hesston High School and a 2006 graduate of Tabor College. He is employed at  Kansas City Prudential Realty as a graphic designer and marketing specialist.

The wedding will be Oct. 4 at Hesston Mennonite Church.

Reese, Radtke set Sept. 13 wedding?

Parents of the couple are the late Rose Mary and Charles Reese of Costello, Pa. and Chris and Allen Radtke of Marion.

The bride-to-be is a 1986 graduate of Austin Area High School in Austin, Pa. She is employed by Parkside Assisted Living in Hillsboro.

The groom-to-be is a 1997 graduate of Marion High School and is employed by Mid Continent Cabinetry in Newton.

The wedding will be Sept. 18 in the back yard of a home on South Roosevelt in Marion.

Creamer, Foth look to October wedding

Parents of the bride-elect are Don Creamer of Temple, Texas, and Laurie Creamer of Marion. The groom-to-be is the son of Lowell Foth of Hillsboro and Corrine Dyck of McPherson.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Marion High School and Salina Vo-Tech. She is employed at the dental office of Loren Loewen in Hillsboro.

Her fianc? is a graduate of Hillsboro High School and Wyoming Technical School. He is employed at Big Dog Motor?cycles in Wichita.

The couple plans to be married Oct. 11 at Hillsboro Menno?nite Brethren Church.
