Loewen and Turner to wed June 30

Doug and Sharon Loewen of Hillsboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Karen, to Stephen Andrew Turner, son of Rusty and Anita Turner of Rogers, Ark.

The bride-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Hillsboro High School and a recent graduate of Wichita State University with an accounting degree. She is employed at Koch Industries in Wichita.

The groom-elect is a 2008 graduate of Rogers (Ark.) High School. He will complete his degree in aerospace engineering at Wichita State University in May.

Grandparents are Donald and Priscilla Janzen of Aurora, Neb., Mary Loewen and the late Waldo Loewen of Hillsboro, James and Frances Boyd of Bentonville, Ark., and Dewell and Shirley Turner of Tulsa, Okla.

A June 30 wedding is planned at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Wichita.

 

Horn and Brittian set March wedding

Danielle Horn and Brett Brittian, both of Wichita, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Hillsboro High School and 2011 graduate of Eric Fisher Academy. She is a hairstylist.

The groom-elect is a 2000 graduate of Heights High School and was in the U.S. Air Force. He owns a roofing and guttering company.

A private destination wedding is planned in March.

 

Jost and Fish plan June 2 wedding

Dallas and Paula Jost and Bill and Cathy Fish, all of Hillsboro, announce the engagement of their children, Andrea Jost to Nathan Fish, also of Hillsboro.

The bride-to-be will be a May 2012 graduate of Kansas State University, majoring in family studies and human ecology major.

The groom-elect is employed at Livestock Services Inc. in Great Bend.

The wedding is planned for June 2 in Hillsboro.
