Marci Erin Wodke and Drew Donald Hunter, both of Basehor, announce their engagement.
Parents of the couple are Glenda and Tom Stoppel of Hillsboro, Brad and JoAnn Wodke of Newton, and Roger and Karen Hunter of Wilson.
The bride-to-be graduated from Hillsboro High School in 2005 and Hutchinson Community College earning a business degree. She is employed as a service manager at Firestone Complete Autocare in Lawrence.
The groom-elect graduated from Basehor-Linwood High School in 2006 and Ottawa University earning a business degree. He is employed as a bank loan specialist at State Street Bank in Kansas City, Mo.
An October wedding is planned.
