Banman, Quinones plan to wed July 28

ENGBanmanQuinonnes Steve and Sandy Banman of Goessel and Albino and Martha Quinones Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Allison Banman to Albino Quinones III, both of Austin.

Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Merlin and Velma Hiebert of Goessel, Jim Banman of Denver, Colo., and Mary Banman of Asheville, N.C.

The future bride is a 2006 graduate of Goessel High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in social work from Bethel College in 2010. She is employed with Communities In Schools of Central Texas with the Austin Public School system.

In the fall, she will start working toward a master?s degree in social work at Texas State University.

The groom-elect is a 2005 graduate of South San Antonio High School. He received his bachelor of science degree in social work from Bethel in 2010.

He is employed as a coordinator for the XY-Zone program with Communities in Schools of Central Texas with Austin Public Schools.

A July 28 wedding at Luz del Evangelio Church in Dallas, Texas, is planned.

Logan, Jilka plan June 16 wedding

ENGAGEJilka Ryan Jilka and Katie Logan, both of Wichita, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Parents of the bride-to-be are Buddy and Laurie Logan of Clay Center.

The future bride is a 2008 graduate of Clay Center High School and a 2012 graduate of McPherson College. She will begin teaching in the fall at Lincoln Elementary School in Augusta.

Parents of the groom-elect are Mike and Karen Jilka of Hillsboro. He is a 2001 graduate of Hillsboro High School and 2005 graduate of Emporia State University. He is employed as a laboratory supervisor at Flint Hills Resources in Wichita.

A June 16 wedding is planned at the SS Peter and Paul Parish Catholic Church in Clay Center.
