Horn and Cates plan Feb. 14 date
Danielle Horn and Daniel Cates, both of Emporia. announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The wedding is planned for Feb. 14 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Emporia.
The couple?s parents are Chris Horn and Carrie Horn, both of McPherson, Jim and Patti Lacey of Sebastapol, Calif., and Steven and Susan Cates of Emporia.
The couple both work for Auspision, LLC in Emporia.
The groom-elect is also attending Emporia State University.
Chisholm, Stueve wedding Feb. 28
Kem and Autumn Chisholm of Durham announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kara Autumn Chisholm of Durham to Braden Stueve of Sharon Springs.
The wedding will be Feb. 28 at the Hillsboro Mennonite Breth?ren Church.
Parents of the groom-to-be are Carl Lee and Marilyn Stueve of Olpe.
Grandparents are the late Carl and Ruth Stueve and the late Joe and Mary Lang of Ellis.
Grandparents of the bride-elect are Dalmer Kaufman of Durham and the late Violet Kaufman and Gerald and Naomi Chisholm-Bowman of Derby.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Hillsboro High School and Tabor College. She is employed at Central National Bank in Marion.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Olpe High School, Garden City Community College and Fort Hays State University. He is county executive director of the Farm Service Agency in Sharon Springs.
O?Dell, Atkins plan June wedding
Jo O?Dell and Michael O?Dell of Marion announce the engagement of their daughter, Caitlin Quinn O?Dell, to Jacob Anthony Adkins, son of Dennis and Terri Adkins of Marion.
An outdoor wedding is planned June 6 in Strong City.
Grandparents of the couple are Barbara and Delano O?Dell of Florence and Vivian and Norman Mueller of Hillsboro.
Great-grandparents are Thelma O?Dell of Florence, Barbara and the late Bob Adkins of Emporia, and Sam and Marylou Wagoner of Emporia.
The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Marion High School. She plans to graduate from Research College of Nursing in May 2009.
Her fiance is a graduate of Marion High School and a 2005 graduate of Pratt Community College. He is employed at Westar Energy, Manhattan.
