Couple to wed at Prairie Village
Lynee Epp of Roeland Park and Mark Rigdon of Overland Park announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
Parents of the couple are Paul and Kathy Epp of Hillsboro and and Jean Rigdon of Smithville, Mo.
The bride-to-be graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in biology from Tabor College in 1996 and a bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Kansas in 1999.
She is employed at Children?s Mercy Hospital.
The groom-elect has a bachelor of science degree in civil/structural engineering from the University of Missouri.
He is employed with Kissick Construction Company.
The couple plan to wed April 4, 2009 at Prairie Village.
Rhodes, Smith to wed Dec. 20
Bruce and Brenda Rhodes, Steven Smith and Greta Smith, all of Marion, announce the upcoming marriage of their children, Molly Rhodes and Tyler Smith.
Grandparents of the couple are Harold and Sally Bauer of Hudson, the late Will Helmer, Mona Smith of Marion and the late Winton Smith.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Marion High School and will graduate from Wichita State University in December with a bachelor of science degree in nursing.
She is employed at Via Christi, St. Francis Regional Medical Center.
The groom-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Marion High School and attended Butler County Community College. He is a machinist, currently employed at Marion Manufacturing.
The wedding is planned Dec. 20 at Eastmoor United Methodist Church, 105 Eastmoor Dr., Marion.
