Hart, Moore plan to wed April 12

EngagementJohn and Mary Hart of Ulysses and Jim and Donna Moore of Hillsboro announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Julie Hart to Justin Moore.

The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Stanton County High School, a 2005 graduate of Dodge City Community College and a graduate of Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center.

She is employed as a patrol officer for the Ulysses Police Department.

The groom to be is a 2006 graduate of Hillsboro high school and a 2011 graduate of Tabor College.

He is employed as a middle school English teacher in the Sublette School District.

He also coaches middle school football and high school boys basketball.

The wedding is planned for April 12 in Wichita.

 

Scott, Carlson to wed May 10

EngagementAmy Scott and Randy Carlson, both of Hillsboro, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Parents of the bride-to-be are Phyllis Scott of Cottonwood Falls and the late Donnie Scott. She is a 2010 graduate of Chase County High School, earning an associates degree from Butler County Community College.

She is attending Emporia State University and majoring in elementary education. She is employed at Parkside Assisted Living in Hillsboro.

Parents of the groom-elect are Mark and Rhonda Curry and Brad Carlson, all of Marion. He is a 2010 graduate of Marion High School and employed as an industrial painter at Circle D Corporation in Hillsboro.

They plan to wed May 10 at First Presbyterian Church in Cottonwood Falls.
