Jennifer Schley and Jeremy Johnson, both of Somerville, Mass., announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
Their parents are Mike and Karen Schley of Raleigh, N.C., and John and Judy Johnson of Lawrence.
The bride-elect graduated in 2001 from William and Mary with a bachelor?s degree in religious studies and is a 2006 graduate of Simmons College with a master?s degree in education. She is employed as an academic case manager and teacher at Landmark School in Manchester, Mass.
The groom-to-be graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1993. He is a 1997 graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor?s degree in chemical engineering. He received a doctorate in chemical engineering in 2006 from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is the co-founder of Agrivida Inc.
The couple will be married Dec. 8 at St. James Episcopal Church in Cambridge, Mass.
