Heidi Braun and Todd McAtee, both of Shawnee, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Ron and Dena Braun of North Newton. She graduated from Tabor College with a bachelor?s degree in elementary education and is employed as an English as a second language teacher with the Kansas City public schools.
Her fiance is the son of Ed and Kathy McAtee of North Newton. He graduated from Southwestern College with a bachelor?s degree in secondary education and is employed as a teacher and coach at Shawnee Mission East High School.
The wedding is planned for July 21 at Rainbow East Mennonite Church in Kansas City.
