Sept. 18 wedding

Ron Cecil of Wichita, Renee Livingston of Long Lane, Mo., and Ben and Mary Steketee of Hillsboro announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Rochelle Nicole Cecil to George Benjamin Floyd Steketee Jr., both of Newton.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Hillsboro High School and Houghton College in Houghton, N.Y., earning a bachelor?s degree in communication and English.

She is employed as a graphic designer at CVI Funeral Supply, Newton.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Hillsboro High School and the University of Advancing Technology at Tempe, Ariz., earning a master?s degree in information assurance.

He is a network security analyst at Koch Business Solutions, Wichita.

A small, family-only wedding is planned Sept. 18 in rural Hillsboro.

Then from 2-5 p.m. Sept. 20, the families are inviting everyone to a come-and-go wedding celebration at Memorial Park in Hillsboro.

A tree planting ceremony is at 4 p.m.

The couple plan to make their home in Newton following a honeymoon trip to Iceland.
