Roger E. Vogts, 65, plant supervisor at Moridge Manufacturing, Inc., in Moundridge, died Aug. 8 at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 12 at First Mennonite Church of Christian in Moundridge. Burial will be at West Zion Cemetery in Moundridge.
Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 11 at Stockham Family Funeral Home, McPherson.
He was born Feb. 4, 1943, to Herman Vogts and Frieda (Flickner) Zissman in Goessel.
He is survived by two sons, Brandon Vogts and Brian Vogts, both of Moundridge; two step-sons, Dwight Helms of Houston, Texas, and Duane Helms of Hesston; brothers, Brad Vogts and Sherwin Niehage, both of McPherson, and Ed Vogts of Moundridge; sisters, Valeta Smith of Hoquiam, Wash., Rosalyn Cornell of Pittsburg, and Dema Woten of Blythe, Calif.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial fund has been established with the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks in care of the funeral home.
