Pete L. Koslowsky, 85, former city employee, died April 22 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m., Friday, at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church, Hillsboro, with pastors Steve Schroeder and Roy Keller officiating.
Burial will preceed the service at 10:15 a.m. at the Gnadenau Cemetery in rural Hillsboro.
He was born Nov. 8, 1922, to Martin J. and Mary Lohrenz Koslowsky in rural Peabody. On June 9, 1946, he was married to Vera Carr, who predeceased him in 1992. On Aug. 7, 1994, he was married to Leona Ratzlaff, who survives.
He also is survived by three sons, Ken and wife Carla of Hillsboro, Mel and wife Donna of Casper, Wyo., and Tom and wife Laurie of Hillsboro; two daughters, Janice and husband Harry Willems of Wichita, and Myrna and husband Walt Jost of Olathe; one step-son, Don Ratz?laff and wife Gayla of Hillsboro; two step-daughters, Aleen Ratz?laff of Hillsboro, and Jone and husband Jeff Lee of Olathe; a sister, Mary Seibel of Hillsboro; a brother, Jake Koslowsky of Newton; seven grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.
Memorial funds have been designated for the Hillsboro Fire Department and Mennonite Central Committee meat canning.
