Marguerite Elizabeth Utech, 82, of Ramona, died June 4 at Hillsboro Community Medical Center.
The funeral was June 9 at the Carlson-Becker Funeral Home in Hope. Burial was at the Lewis Cemetery in Ramona.
She was born Nov. 27, 1925, to Charley and Maggie (Friedli) Bayes. On June 25, 1944, she was married to Fred E. Utech, who predeceased her.
She is survived by two sons, Garland of Amsterdam, Mo., and Marlon of Collierville, Tenn.; a daughter, Jeanetta Hanschu of Ramona; a sister, Margery Brown of Merriam; a brother, Glenn and Beverly Bayes of Herington; a sister-in-law, Darlene Bayes of Salina; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorial funds have been established with Trinity Lutheran Church of Ramona and the Ramona Senior Citizens Center in care of the funeral home.
