Lorene E. Smith, 92, lifelong resident of Marion County, died July 8 at Golden Living Center of Marion.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 11 at Burdick United Methodist Church of Burdick.
The family will greet friends and neighbors from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 10 at Zeiner Funeral Home of Marion.
She was born Jan. 11, 1916 to John Sidney and Maude (Garrison) Symes. On June 24, 1938, she was married to Percy Franklin Smith, who predeceased her.
Survivors include sons John and Kitty of Wichita and Philip and Jan of Lincolnville; her grandchildren, Amy and Brad Pagenkopf, Lori and Mike Harvey, Mark and Lori Smith, Ben and Shelby Smith, Jesse and Ashton Smith; step-grandchildren Amber and Bruce Doxon, David Ogden and Gene and Michelle Ogden; six great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Burdick United Methodist Church.
