Imo M. Klinkerman, 94, homemaker, retired teacher and World Book representative, died Feb. 23 at Heartland Haven Home Plus in Inman.
A graveside service will be at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 27 at Canton Township Cemetery with pastor Les Cantrell presiding. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Cantrell and Carri Carlson presiding.
Visitation with the family present will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 26 at Olson?s Mortuary in Canton.
She was born Sept. 9, 1913, to Aben and Elsie (Tinsley) Peterson south of Canton. On Aug. 17, 1937, she was married to Glen D. Klinkerman, who predeceased her in 2006.
She is survived by two daughters, Myrna and Norman Schmidt of Inman, and Kala and William Nickel of Hillsboro; two brothers, Ernest Peterson and Milford and Carol Peterson, all of Wichita; a sister, Clara Mae Parr of McPherson; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
