Hazel M. Evans, 78, homemaker, died Jan. 28 at McPherson Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1 at the funeral home.
She was born July 27, 1929, to John and Flarra (Brannon) Lucas in Foracre, Okla. On Aug. 3, 1965, she was married to Wilbur Evans, who predeceased her.
She is survived by a son, Wayne and Alice Olmstead of Haysville; three daughters, Nina and Richard Horin of Fillmore, Calif., Kay and Howard McCain of Burrton, and Ann Evans and husband Loren Spurgeon of Kirkland, Wash.; a brother, Lee and Mary Sue Truitt of Kansas, Okla.; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial funds have been established with McPherson Memorial Hospital?s Tobin Room and Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, P.O. Box 6, Marion, KS 66861.
